| A special place in our gatherings is given to prasadam — sacred food prepared with love and pure intention. Taste it at retreat! The Sanskrit word prasada (प्रसाद, prasāda) means "grace," "blessing," or "divine mercy." In the spiritual tradition, prasad is food that is first offered to the Divine and then gratefully received back as sanctified, filled with the special energy of blessing. Thus, prasad is not merely food, but a sacred offering that becomes a vessel of goodness, purity, and spiritual power, nourishing and elevating our consciousness. |
